In 1990, with the strength of its three Regions, Les Clefs d’Or Canada held its very first National Congress in the city of Toronto. Warren Anderson, President of LCDC was the Congress Co-Chairperson along with Gerald Parent.
The Royal York Hotel (Nowadays the Fairmont Royal York) was the host hotel. The main goal of this first congress was to reunite the three Regions of Canada, who had each been working independently and to create a unity across the country so everyone could start pushing in the same direction, for the development of the association.
Good job Warren and Gerald!
