In 1987, one of the original six Founding Members, Mr. Warren Anderson, Chef-Concierge at the Four Seasons Toronto, was elected President of Les Clefs d’Or Canada. He became our 3rd President and remained in office for four years.
Mr. Anderson’s claim to fame during his presidency was to reunite the three Regions that formed LCD Canada at the time, Ontario, Quebec and Western Canada.
Warren continues to be an active member of Les Clefs d’Or Canada, even to this day. He was awarded the status of Honorary Member in 1992 and he is currently one of the three members on the Comité des Sages, a Committee of Elders which overlooks our operations and counsels the National Board to protect the spirit on which the association was created.
You can watch a very interesting interview that Warren gave as part the 2011 documentary, LCDC 35 Years Odyssey, which can be found within this previous post: «Les Clefs d’Or Canada Celebrates Its 40th Anniversary in 2016!» .
