Niagara Region Director, Matt Sutherland, presents the 2018 Golden Plate Award to James Treadwell, co-owner and sommelier of Treadwell Cuisine.

Every year, the Les Clefs d’Or concierges of the Niagara Region select a restaurant to become the Golden Plate Award winner.

The judging for this friendly contest is based on four criteria:
Atmosphere, service, quality of food, and how the restaurants work with us as concierges.

Treadwell Cuisine has become an icon on Queen Street, in Niagara-on-the-Lake, as one of the GO TO restaurants. It specializes in a local farm to table menu, and also boasts an award winning wine cellar, focusing on the small family run estate wineries of the Niagara region.
