Virginia Casale, Chef-Concierge at Loews Hôtel Vogue
In 1999 at the Miami Pan-American Congress, Virginia Casale, from the Loews Hôtel Vogue Montréal, was elected as the 6th President of Les Clefs d’Or Canada, the first woman to hold that position in Canada!

Gérald Parent, 4th President of Les Clefs d’Or Canada; Virginia Casale, 6th President; Ian Shulman, 5th President. Québec City 2001.
Virginia was also the first President that did not originate from the Toronto Region. She remained at the position of Canadian President for six years before making the jump to the International scene and into the Les Clefs d’Or – UICH‘s International Executive Board. (Future story)
Virginia’s Executive Board was composed of Geoff Argue, Sheron Empey, Alain Larouche and Ian Shulman.
Among her proudest achievements, she cites increasing the membership, focusing on education, launching the LCDC website and bringing congresses to lesser known areas of the country such as Banff and Niagara.
Virginia Casale has recently stepped away from the Concierge desk and is now teaching the Concierge class at the Institut de Tourisme et d’Hôtellerie du Québec in Montréal.
