From the 14th of April to the 17th, 1994, Toronto was host to the 1st Congress of the Americas. The Chairman of the congress was Canadian President, Gerald Parent. 212 Americans, Canadians and International Members registered and made a success of this historic gathering.
Among the International VIP’s present, were Marjorie Silverman, 3rd International Vice-President, UIPGH (Les Clefs d’Or – UICH) and Jean Gillet, International President, UIPGH (Les Clefs d’Or – UICH). Les Clefs d’Or USA President, Mr. John Nealy, was also chairing the American part of the meetings, their 13th Annual Meeting.
From the success of the 1st Congress of the Americas, a wonderful practice developped where, every two years, the Concierges from Canada, USA, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil meet together at Pan-American Congresses. The next one is happening in just a few weeks in Montréal, Canada, from March 9th to 13th 2016. It will be the 19th Pan-American Congress.
