In October 1992, during the 3rd National Congress, in Vancouver, Gerald Parent, Chef-Concierge at the Inter-Continental Toronto hotel, was elected to become the 4th President of our history. He was also the youngest Canadian President, at the age of 28 years old. He would hold the position from 1992 to 1996 and was mostly recognized for his high interest in education.
During his time as President, «Gerry» organized the 1994 1st Pan-American Congress in Toronto and he was the co-founder of the International Concierge Institute to Montreal.
Gerald has been with Les Clefs d’Or Canada since then and still is today, being a member of the Comité des Sages. He also is an Honorary Member since 2001 and an International Honorary Member since 2007.
