In September 1975, 6 Concierges from 6 of the best hotels in Toronto decided to create the Association Les Clefs d’Or Canada and met for the first time, at the Rothman’s Car Museum, to discuss various subjects pertaining to Les Clefs d’Or and to the Concierge profession.
Those 6 pioneer Concierges from Toronto can be rightfully considered the Fathers of Les Clefs d’Or Canada. They are:
Warren Anderson;
James Burnham;
Herb Goldring;
Bill Fisher;
Ernest Thorn;
John Hunt.
Today we still have the pleasure to have Warren Anderson attend most of our congresses as he sits on the Comité des Sages (Committee of Elders).
