Another successful year for the Annual Vancouver Tourism Showcase!
The 770 signed attendees came to The Vancouver Convention Centre East Building on Thursday May 5th to meet, explore, and learn about the 105 tourism industry vendors that participated in this year’s event.

In 2012, Matthew Wu, concierge at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia, in Vancouver, BC, was the Canadian nominee to participate in the prestigious Andy Pongco Award contest, held during the 59th International Congress, in London, England. Matthew had some very strong competition from 10 other young Concierges from around the world and he emerged as the winner of the contest.
He is the only Canadian to win the Andy Pongco Award.
